Andrew Wall, National Director
CIPS Experience
Andrew was first introduced to CIPS by his father George Wall who has been a contributing member for more than 20 years. Andrew has assisted the toronto board for several years and has been an active board member for the last two.
Professional Experience
for the past 8 years Andrew has been working as the CIO for Wall & Associates Professional Corporation Chartered accountants. In 2001 Andrew and a team of developters applied for a patent on a new accounting software that enables Accountants to work with offshore resources. As a result of his work on this Software Andrew has appeared on the CBC television show venture and was invited to speak at the International Trade Centers executive forum on global outsourcing.
Education
After graduating from the University of Western Ontario with a B.A. in Sociology. Andrew found his passion in computers and soon graduated with honors from the the Information technology Institute. Andrew has also taken several courses in accounting and is currently pursuing his C.G.A. designation.
Personal Interests
Andrew likes to keep active and enjoys many sports. He is currently a member of the R.C.Y.C. where he plays squash and sails in the Tuesday nite club races. He is also a regular at Dentonia park, his favorite par 3 golf course.
