Jeff held the Program Director portfolio prior to being elected Vice President. Jeff was delighted by the recognition CIPS had among elite technologists, and was able to schedule speakers such as Rasmus Lerdorf (the creator of PHP), Simon Woodside (the creator of Semacode), and Scott Abler (noted tier 1 consultant and software methodology author.) Jeff was acclaimed president of CIPS Toronto Section in January 2006.
Jeff recieved his ISP designation decision in 2006.
Jeff has more than 10 years of professional software development experience, primarily for small consutling organizations with Fortune 500 clients. Jeff has had in depth experience with every phase of the software development lifecycle and has consulted for clients in diverse industries across Canada, the United States, and Europe.
After graduating from the University of Guelph with an unlikely multi-discipline degree in Drama and Computer Science, Jeff sought a number of vendor sponsored certifications. Wanting to demonstrate greater commitment to the profession, Jeff pursued the IEEE Computer Society's CSDP before finally seeking his ISP in 2006.
Jeff is an avid skiier, enjoys SCUBA diving, and dosen't mind golf despite a complete lack of skill.
